Statement on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

Kopexa takes its responsibility to operate ethically and responsibly seriously, including respecting and upholding the rights of all people. We are committed to complying with the applicable standards and requirements of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz) and all other relevant legislation.

This statement provides an overview of the measures Kopexa takes to prevent and combat modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

Company overview

Kopexa GmbH is a Germany-based company focused on the development and operation of an EU-centric compliance and GRC platform. Our teams work predominantly in Europe, and our customers are SMEs and larger enterprises across the EU.

Kopexa helps organizations implement ISO 27001, TISAX, GDPR, DORA, NIS2 and other standards. Our platform connects frameworks, risks, assets, documents and audits in a single solution that creates transparency and strengthens audit readiness.

Our policies

As a responsible company, contributing positively to society is a matter of course for Kopexa.

Our principles are set out in our Code of Conduct, which applies to all employees, managers, board members, contractors and partners. This Code makes clear: zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking or forced labor (for adults and children alike), the expectation of the same standards from all partners, suppliers and service providers, and a commitment to protecting human rights in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In addition, Kopexa maintains a "Speak Up" policy that encourages anyone to confidentially report concerns about forced labor or unethical conduct.

Assessment, monitoring and risk management

Kopexa regularly assesses and monitors risks related to forced and child labor in its supply chain. Due to the nature of our industry (SaaS/software), the risks are considered low. Potentially elevated risks may occur in areas where services involving manual labor are procured (e.g., event support, catering, facility services). Kopexa relies on supplier assessments and contractual obligations to ensure that partners do not use forced labor. Where necessary, contracts contain audit clauses that give Kopexa the right to verify compliance.

Reporting and enforcement

Kopexa operates a compliance hotline ("Speak Up") and a confidential reporting address (compliance@kopexa.com) through which employees, suppliers or third parties can anonymously report potential violations.

All reports are taken seriously, treated confidentially and, where appropriate, responded to with suitable measures. To date, no incidents related to modern slavery or human trafficking have been reported.

Governance and review

Our Code of Conduct, the "Speak Up" policy and our governance and compliance processes are regularly reviewed to assess their effectiveness. Should a risk be identified in the supply chain, Kopexa is committed to taking appropriate countermeasures.

We are confident that through these measures, the risk of forced or child labor in connection with our business activities is low.
